Who we are
Mumtaz (“we”, “us”) is an independent study application that helps nurses prepare for Gulf licensing examinations. You can contact us at support@mumtaz-app.com.
The short version
Mumtaz is built to need as little of your data as possible. You do not create an account. You do not give us your name or email to use the app. Your study progress stays on your device. We do not show ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Information we do NOT collect
- We do not require or store an account, name, email, or phone number to use the app.
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, or browsing activity.
- We do not use advertising identifiers and we do not run ads.
- We do not sell or share personal information with data brokers or advertisers.
Information stored ON your device
Your answers, scores, bookmarks, mistakes list, streak, selected exam, and exam date are stored locally on your device so the app works offline. We cannot see this data; it does not leave your device unless your own device backup (for example iCloud or Google backup) includes it under your device settings. Deleting the app removes this data from the device.
Purchases
If you buy a one-time unlock or a subscription, the purchase is processed by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) and by our payments provider, RevenueCat, which helps us confirm and restore your purchase. This process may involve a purchase identifier linked to your device or store account so that your access can be verified and restored. We do not receive your full payment card details; those are handled by the app store. Please also see:

Children
Mumtaz is intended for adult healthcare professionals and students preparing for licensing exams. It is not directed at children.
Your choices and rights
Because we do not hold an account or personal profile about you, there is usually no personal data on our servers to access, correct, or delete. For purchase records handled by the app store or RevenueCat, you can contact us at support@mumtaz-app.com and we will help direct your request. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR; we will make reasonable efforts to honor applicable requests.
Changes to this policy
If we change what data the app handles, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date before the new behavior takes effect.
